Ascension Worship
Ascension Worship is committed to honoring God through music with excellence, obedience, and joy. Worship is more than a moment, it is a response. We seek to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in every part of what we do, from rehearsal to personal preparation to the way we gather as a body. This is not about performance, it is about presence. We honor the Lord with the gifts He has given us as we glorify who He is and all that He has done. Our desire is to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus in a real way, where hearts are opened, burdens are lifted, and people are reminded they are not alone. We do not just lead songs. We lead people into His presence.
Ascension Kids
At Ascension Kids, we believe faith starts early, but it does not stay surface level. We create a space where children can encounter Jesus in a real and personal way while learning truth that shapes who they are becoming. We partner with families to build identity, confidence, and a deep understanding of God’s love. Through teaching, worship, and connection, we are raising a generation that knows who they are in Christ and walks in it. This is more than childcare. This is discipleship from the beginning.
Ascension Youth
Wednesday Night Youth Group is a fun, interactive space for kids to connect, grow, and learn together. Led by Pastor Blayr, this Bible study is where we dive into different biblical teachings each week.
It’s a place to have fun, ask questions, and build friendships, all while exploring God’s word in a way that’s real and relatable. Whether you’re new or have been coming for a while, everyone is welcome to join in and grow in their faith.
Come as you are, be a part of the conversation, and take away lessons that will help you live out your faith every day.
Bible Study
The Word of God is alive. It is meant to be lived, not just learned. At Ascension, we believe real transformation comes from both encountering Jesus through the Holy Spirit and being grounded in the truth of His Word. Experience without the Word is not sustainable, and the Word without experience is not transformative. Bible Study is a place to go deeper in Scripture, grow in understanding, and learn how to apply truth to everyday life. Whether you are new to the Bible or have been walking with God for years, this is a space where questions are welcome and growth is expected. We do not just read the Word. We live it.
Women's Ministry
Ascension Women is a place for women to gather, be strengthened, and rise into who God has called them to be. This is a ministry led by women, for women, rooted in the truth that every woman carries something valuable, including wisdom, experience, testimony, and voice. We are not meant to do life alone. There is power in coming together, learning from one another, and walking side by side through every season. Each month, Pastor Rosa, Dr. Shauna Rae, Grace, and Crystal lead and guide this space, bringing different strengths and a shared heart to create an environment where women can encounter Jesus and grow in real and lasting ways. You will hear a variety of stories and perspectives, all pointing back to truth, in a space for connection, honesty, encouragement, and challenge. We gather to fellowship, pour into one another, and build relationships rooted in love, trust, and faith. You do not have to have it all together to walk in. You just have to be willing to show up. There is something in you, and there is something here for you.
Men's Ministry
Ascension Men is about building men of strength, integrity, and purpose. Real masculinity is formed through humility, accountability, and a life surrendered to Christ. This is a space where men are challenged, sharpened, and equipped to lead in their homes, relationships, and communities. Through brotherhood and truth, we call men higher, not just to believe, but to live it out daily. This is not about having it all together, but about being willing to grow, be honest, and walk alongside men who will challenge you and hold you to more. We are raising men who do not just show up. They stand firm.
Relationship &
Marriage Builders
Relationships are where some of our deepest wounds live, and where some of our greatest growth happens. At Ascension, transformation does not just happen individually, but in how we love, communicate, and show up for one another. Relationship and Marriage Builders is a monthly experience for singles, those dating, engaged, and married. Led by Dr. Shauna Rae and Pastor Jeff, this space brings together clinical insight and spiritual truth to help you understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and grow in the way you love. From time to time, we invite trusted voices from our community to speak into specific topics and add depth to the conversation. We believe a better me leads to a better we. This is a space for real conversations, skill-building, and deeper healing. This is not just about romantic relationships, but every relationship God has entrusted to you. You do not have to have it all figured out to walk in. You just have to be willing to grow.
Inspired Youth
Inspired Youth is a young adult community for those who want to grow in their faith and walk in their God-given purpose. Founded by Chasen Livingston, this community was built out of a burden for a generation searching for meaning, yet often feeling lost, disconnected, or far from God. After experiencing his own transformation, Chasen created a place where young people can encounter truth in a way that is real, honest, and life-giving.We meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday from 6:30–8:30 PM for Bible study and fellowship, building both spiritual depth and meaningful community through co-ed and gender-specific spaces. This is a place to process pain, work through confusion, and realign with truth and purpose. You do not have to have it all figured out to walk in. You just have to be willing to grow. We believe the presence of God in community is where transformation happens, and there is space for you here.
AA Big Book Meeting
Our Big Book Meeting is a weekly gathering centered on the 12 Steps, offering a space to grow in recovery, deepen understanding, and walk out lasting change. Held at Ascension Church, this meeting is led by Tony Wells and brings together over 20 years of sobriety, real-life experience, and a deep commitment to both faith and the principles of recovery. Tony teaches in a way that is honest, grounded, and practical, creating an environment where people can learn not just about recovery, but how to live it. This is a unique opportunity to learn from and alongside someone who has walked the path and continues to live it out daily. Whether you are new to recovery or have been on the journey for years, this is a space to grow in clarity, accountability, and freedom. We gather every Monday night at 7 PM at Ascension Church Crystal.
